Senior Accountant needed for a leading professional services firm in Malta. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of Maltese clients, prepare management accounts and financial statements, handle VAT returns, and ensure all statutory deadlines are met. You will review work prepared by junior team members, coordinate with auditors for annual audits, and mentor junior accountants. Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing professional accounting advice and responding to client requirements efficiently. Identify process improvements and contribute to internal training and projects. Requirements include at least 2 years of experience in client accounting or professional services, strong knowledge of Maltese VAT and statutory accounting, experience supervising junior staff, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and SAGE or similar software.
