Nationwide is seeking a SAS Data Engineer to join the SAS Data Engineering team in Swindon, United Kingdom on a 12-month secondment. The role is responsible for maintaining and updating regulatory models in production and providing a trusted operational run service to deliver critical data for month-end reporting, while ensuring data quality underpinning these models. You will integrate Virgin Money data into established processes and work with Retail Credit Risk to develop Group models following the integration, as well as contribute to other key data projects. The role combines delivery, continuous improvement, and automation, with the opportunity to work on the new cloud warehouse as part of the SAS estate using cutting-edge technologies, governance, and controls. Nationwide offers hybrid working wherever possible, with the expectation that you’ll spend time in the office depending on location (for example regular collaboration and in some locations at least two days per week, or 40% of time in the office for part-time arrangements).
