Responsibilities

• Contribute to the rewrite of our robotics application software on a new platform
• Optimize, expand, and maintain the embedded software landscape
• Code in C/C++ and/or Rust
• Apply robotics experience to contribute to new architectures with Model Based Design
• Analyze, test, and debug software to ensure reliability and performance
• Train and support end users, primarily in Belgium with occasional travel abroad
• Maintain clear, thorough documentation to support the team and future development

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in industrial engineering or software engineering
• Strong experience in C/C++; willingness to grow into Rust
• Hands-on experience with ROS2
• Matlab/Simulink a plus
• Strong R&D mindset, curiosity, and teamwork

• Good command of Dutch and English
