BASF Environmental Catalyst and Metal Solutions (ECMS) is seeking a Reliability Engineer for the Huntsville, AL site to develop and implement reliability engineering programs. You will apply reliability methodologies including Risk-Based Inspections (RBI), Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), and Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) to resolve issues and improve asset reliability. You will manage the development and execution of comprehensive multi-year reliability plans and equipment inspections. Key responsibilities include expediting improvements, optimizing costs, and improving overall asset effectiveness; developing and driving a multi-year reliability improvement plan with capital and expense projects for various operating units at the site; supporting equipment improvement projects through expense or capital investments; providing engineering input for project specification, design, and construction in accordance with plant design requirements, BASF ECMS standards, and regulatory requirements; collaborating with plant operations, maintenance, engineering, and research personnel; identifying cost reduction opportunities and defining preventative and predictive maintenance requirements for new and existing equipment; providing site support for plant equipment, maintenance, reliability improvements, and capital projects; and supporting maintenance storeroom spare parts and VMI material levels.
