Responsibilities

Identify quality and high-potential candidates for store positions; meet regularly with the Recruiting Manager and Director of Recruiting on priorities; conduct screening interviews for G4UC, Department Assistants, and Department Managers as required; schedule candidates with Store Managers for interviews; maintain flexibility to perform other duties as needed to support the store network during the temporary assignment. Qualifications: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required; 3–5 years of experience recruiting exempt and non-exempt level candidates; field retail experience preferred; strong recruiting skills and ability to identify quality candidates; strong knowledge of relevant recruiting and employment laws and regulations; ability to work independently and self-motivated; excellent understanding of the retail environment; ability to effectively communicate with candidates and employees at every education level; proficient computer skills with ability to develop spreadsheets and reports to analyze division staffing needs; excellent collaboration and consensus-building skills; strong relationship-building and networking ability and excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; knowledge and shared belief of Natural Grocers by Vitamin Cottage culture and values; ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
