The QA Automation Engineer designs, implements, and maintains automated testing solutions to improve software quality and reduce reliance on manual testing. This role works closely with Product, Engineering, and QA to develop test strategies based on business requirements, Jira stories, and acceptance criteria, and will drive the ongoing evaluation, implementation, and management of the organization’s test automation framework across the claims processing platform. Responsibilities: review Jira stories and requirements to develop comprehensive test plans and cases; design test scenarios for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end workflows; identify opportunities to automate repetitive and high-value tests; participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and requirement discussions to ensure testability; evaluate, select, and implement automation tools and frameworks; design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and system testing; build reusable automation libraries and testing standards; expand automation coverage to reduce manual testing and improve release quality; maintain automated tests as functionality evolves; execute automated regression, smoke, and functional tests; perform manual testing when automation is impractical; validate end-to-end business workflows across the platform; verify fixes and production readiness before releases; track defects in Jira with clear s
