Responsibilities

Accounts Payable: Receive and process invoices; ensure required invoice approvals are obtained; process new vendor request forms; research past-due invoices; request W-9 and Insurance Certificates from vendors and maintain up-to-date certificates; handle 1099 processing. Accounts Receivable: Process monthly tenant statements; collect and post rent payments; charge late fees and miscellaneous charges; assist and resolve tenant account issues; perform operating expense and property tax reconciliations. General Duties: Close the books for the assigned property each month with the required journal entries; perform monthly bank reconciliations; generate monthly financial statements; update and maintain accounting records; assist in annual budget preparation; collaborate with the Property Management Team on financial needs and variance analysis; undertake other financial duties as assigned by the Controller; develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems using current technology.
