About the role K92 Mining Limited, owner of the Kainantu Gold Mine in Eastern Highlands Province, PNG, is undergoing a significant expansion including a 1.2 mtpa processing plant. We are seeking a proven leader to manage Surface Haulage Services (SHS) and to oversee the safe, efficient operation of SHS mobile plant, road maintenance and related infrastructure. The role leads a multinational and national workforce and acts as the end-user representative for SHS across multiple stakeholders. You will provide leadership, guidance, and training to the national workforce to increase capability, efficiency and capacity.

Key Accountabilities - Project management of SHS from the 800 Level to the Processing Plant, and delivery of materials to the Paste Plant operation. - Lead the SHS group, supervising haulage, road maintenance and related tasks. - Mentor National Supervisors, Admin, Cost Controllers and Trainer Assessors to a high standard. - Provide input on future demands from studies and long-term planning, liaising with corporate project and onsite planning teams to meet haulage requirements. - Work closely with Mine Technical Services (MTS) and K92 Mining Services (KMS) to ensure SHS delivers against budget and growth plans. - Develop and manage an allocated annual budget and project costs. - Oversee road maintenance as prescribed by HOD-Surface Haulage Services. - Promote a safe and healthy culture within the teams; uphold safety obligations and HSE practices. - Ensure safe work practices and housekeeping within the responsible area. - Review and validate engineering inputs
