Fermi America is building the largest private power campus in the United States to serve the compute demand of artificial intelligence. Project Matador, located in Carson County, Texas, is planned to scale to about 17 GW of generation (approximately 11 GW natural gas, 5.4 GW nuclear, and 600 MW solar) and will deliver power behind the meter at high density. The role of Project Manager will own a natural gas generation project from FEED through final investment decision (FID), through construction, commissioning, and turnover to Operations. The scope may include simple cycle and combined cycle blocks, heat recovery steam generators, cooling systems, fuel gas conditioning, balance of plant, and interconnection to the campus high voltage system. This is a single point of accountability on the owner side, with responsibility for safety, cost, schedule, quality, and contractual outcomes. You will direct EPC contractors and make the decisions that drive project success.
