About the role
Turner & Townsend, in collaboration with CBRE, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Madrid team for construction projects in the Industrial sector. This on-site role requires leading the project team, coordinating activities, and ensuring delivery in line with client objectives and Turner & Townsend's project delivery standards.
Responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Lead the project team on a daily basis and coordinate activities with the client, contractors and other stakeholders.
- Define and implement the project development strategy in coordination with the Client and the Project Director.
- Maintain open communication with clients and project partners; ensure compliance with the Quality Management System throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor and control the project cost plan and schedule; establish governance and meeting structures.
- Manage risk, procurement, and contracting strategies; maintain the project document management and filing structure.
- Prepare and issue Monthly Project Status Reports to the client and leadership team.
- Coordinate with the project team to support final evaluation and performance assessment of contractors.
- Degree in Engineering (Bachelor's or Master's), Architecture, Building Engineering, Technical Architecture, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Approximately 10 years of professional experience, including at least 5 years as a Project Manager in construction, office, logistics/industrial, or similar projects.
