Picnic is transforming grocery shopping with our app-only service, and we are looking for a People Partner for Tech to support roughly 75 colleagues in the Tech domain, including Software Engineers, Product Owners, and Data Engineers, on-site in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The People team at Picnic aims to reinvent HR practices as we scale, with a central group of about 1,000 people across Amsterdam, Paris, and Düsseldorf. As the People Partner – Tech, you will be responsible for the development and organization of the tech workforce, partnering with a cross-functional group of tech experts to staff, onboard, develop, rotate, motivate, retain, and organize your assigned teams.

Key responsibilities include driving performance and talent management through regular check-ins and bi-annual reviews; acting as a trusted advisor and coach to the tech leadership team; managing talent to ensure the right people are in the right roles; leading people-related projects, and providing data-driven insights to guide decision-making and proactive solutions. You will design and improve programs around staffing, onboarding, learning & development, and rotation, and enable tech leaders to cultivate an effective leadership pipeline. You will also handle admin tasks related to development agreements, contracts, and compensation.
