Outside Sales Representative required for TAL Building Centers. Based in Dillon, Montana, United States, the role drives end-to-end sales for assigned accounts and sources new customers. This position manages the full sales process from initial contact through closing within TAL Building Centers' building materials network. Responsibilities include identifying and developing potential customers, presenting tailored solutions, building and maintaining relationships with existing customers, observing construction sites to determine material needs, consulting with customers to determine functional and spatial requirements, and preparing estimates, quotes, purchase orders, tickets, and invoices in line with guidelines. You will aim to achieve the greatest gross margin on all sales, assist with customer service issues, coordinate with yard, store, and office staff to fulfill orders and deliver an exceptional customer experience, handle special orders, and assist the credit department with requirements. Travel is required. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, at least five years of selling experience in the building materials industry, ability to work in a team and communicate effectively, knowledge of blueprint reading, proficiency with Microsoft Office and POS programs, a valid driver's license, and the ability to visit customer job sites.
