Allison Transmission is seeking an Operations Program Manager for its Indianapolis, Indiana location. The primary purpose of the role is to coordinate cross-functional, multi-site programs that involve customers, vendors, and consultants, while keeping management informed of progress against schedule and budget and ensuring delivery of high-quality results. This role collaborates with Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Facilities, Procurement, Supplier Quality, Global Supply Chain, Plant Operations, and Operations Program Management to develop and implement a comprehensive Program Plan using the methods and templates defined in the Operations Program Management Playbook. It also coordinates with Outside North America facilities to align program deliverables. The successful candidate will maintain program timing, cost, and quality by working across the organization, organize internal launches and gate reviews, and apply recovery plans as needed. The ideal candidate possesses integrity, active listening, organization, concise communication, collaboration, initiative, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or Finance and 5+ years of related experience (10+ preferred). This is an experienced, individual contributor role with interactions across leadership and cross-functional teams; no direct management responsibilities.
