Exotrail is looking for a Multi-Physics Engineering Team Lead at the Massy site to oversee the technical, operational, and people-management activities of the Simulation team within Spaceware Engineering. The role leads three multidisciplinary simulation groups—Structural, Thermal, and CFD—and ensures the quality, robustness, and traceability of simulation results across the product development lifecycle. Key responsibilities include setting priorities, ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery within resource constraints, allocating resources, and supporting career development and recruitment. The role also drives technical excellence, cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Systems, Design, Test, Industrialisation, Quality and Project Management, and represents the simulation organization with customers and external partners as required. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Fluid Mechanics, Computational Engineering, Applied Physics, or related fields; 8–12+ years of numerical simulation experience; proven experience managing technical engineering teams; and expertise in Structural Analysis (FEA), Thermal Simulation, or CFD (cross-domain experience is a plus). Strong skills in numerical simulation, Verification & Validation, and multi-physics methods are required, along with experience with tools such as Abaqus, ANSYS, Nastran, COMSOL, or Siemens Simcenter.
