You will bridge R&D bring-up and operations, equipping teams with software tools, automated routines, and data-driven workflows to perform complex measurements and hardware testing. By embedding a data-first, software-driven mindset into the lab, you will help ensure high quality deliverables and enable the seamless transition of photonic NPUs from research and development to full production. Your mission includes defining measurement strategies, developing robust measurement routines, and automating software tasks across bring-up and operations to streamline production workflows; serving as the central technical connection between R&D systems engineering, bring-up teams, and operations to ensure high dependability and on-time NPU deliveries; leading data gathering efforts and managing long-term database storage to provide actionable insights for R&D and stakeholders; establishing clear software protocols, best practices, and documentation for lab tasks and contributing to internal lab software tools; autonomously investigating and resolving complex measurement or hardware bring-up issues using structured software engineering principles; and expanding automation systems to connect with backend databases and promote cross-reusability of tools within R&D.
