XTM Group is seeking a Java Engineer for a hybrid role based in Athens, Greece. The hybrid arrangement requires you to attend our Marousi, Athens office at least once every two weeks. In this role you will own and deliver the end-to-end lifecycle of medium-sized projects or features, break down engineering problems, and lead other engineers to solve them effectively. You will write high-quality code with solid test coverage, document decisions and runbooks, and improve observability and monitoring. You’ll conduct thorough code reviews, participate in hiring, onboard and mentor engineers, and help scale the team. The ideal candidate has approximately two years of experience, strong knowledge of the frameworks and tools used in the SDLC, and fluency in English at minimum B1/B2 level. Experience in an agentic development organization is desirable.
