About the role

BizIQ is seeking an experienced Interim HR Generalist to provide immediate, hands-on support to the HR team during a period of coverage gaps. This is a full-time, temporary, hybrid role based in the Phoenix, AZ office. The Interim HR Generalist will backfill across HRIS data integrity, employee recognition programs, offboarding, policy administration, payroll, and HR service delivery. This position requires a detail-oriented HR professional who can manage competing priorities across multiple functional areas, work with minimal supervision, and maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

Conduct audits of HRIS and related systems to identify and correct data discrepancies.
Maintain accurate, well-organized employee records and HR files across systems.
Manage weekly loading and fulfillment of employee recognition/rewards programs, including prize and gift card redemption.
Support employee recognition communications and postings across internal channels.

Serve as a front-line responder for HR help desk tickets, triaging and resolving or escalating as needed.
Support review and updates to HR policies.
Assist in maintaining career pathing and development documentation for employees.
Provide administrative and coordination support for Learning & Development initiatives and training logistics.
Research issues and bring forward thoughtful recommendations rather than simply escalating questions.
