TEKsystems is seeking an IT Infrastructure Project Manager to lead a multi-year infrastructure modernization initiative focused on cloud migration and data center consolidation. The successful candidate will oversee the assessment, planning, and execution of migrating on-premises workloads to Microsoft Azure, while coordinating the gradual decommissioning of smaller data centers. This role partners with infrastructure, application, security, and business stakeholders to establish migration criteria, evaluate application readiness for cloud adoption, and manage the migration of workloads to cloud-based environments. A key component is supporting the organization’s strategy to exit one data center and coordinating activities with external service integrators such as AHEAD, Optum, or similar partners. The ideal candidate will combine infrastructure project management expertise with cloud migration experience, application portfolio assessment capabilities, and strong stakeholder management skills. Required skills include project management, infrastructure, stakeholder management, implementation, and project planning, with experience in data center operations, servers and virtualization, networking, storage, identity and access management, security and disaster recovery, and third-party service providers. This is a contract position based out of Ann Arbor, MI, and offers a pay range of $45.00–$55.00 per hour. Fully remote work arrangement.
