Providence USFHP is seeking an Information Security Manager to lead the Security team in Renton. This on-site role will oversee day-to-day security operations, prioritize workloads, and act in a supervisory capacity. The Information Security Manager will develop security policies and procedures, advance enterprise security awareness, and drive compliance with regulatory standards such as HIPAA and the DIACAP framework.

Manage and mentor security staff; supervise day-to-day activities of the Security team.
Develop and implement information security policies, procedures, and awareness programs.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and related regulatory standards; support audits and risk assessments.
Collaborate with IT, clinical, and administrative teams to align security programs with business objectives.
Stay current with evolving security threats and best practices; lead incident response and remediation efforts as needed.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent IT technical and managerial experience.
At least 3 years of experience managing technical and/or security staff.
Demonstrated experience developing efficient security-related workflows and processes.
Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CHP, CHSS, GIAC, MCSE, or MCSA.
Experience working in a healthcare IT setting.
