Overview: We are seeking an HPC Engineering Team Lead to join a Scientific Computing team supporting high-performance computing (HPC) and scientific research at NIAID. The Team Lead will provide technical leadership for an HPC engineering team while remaining hands-on in the administration, optimization, and support of HPC infrastructure, scientific software, and user services. The role will guide operational priorities, mentor staff, and partner with researchers and stakeholders to ensure reliable, high-quality HPC services.

Location and work arrangement: This position is based in Rockville, Maryland, USA, with 2–3 days on site per week. Telecommuting options: Hybrid.
