About the role

Position: Financial Accountant & Controller (m/f/d)

Your role: You will join a small, close-knit Finance team within a fast-growing FinTech scale-up in the consumer credit space. You will report to the Finance Manager, work hands-on across accounting and controlling, and help supervise and develop a Junior Finance colleague. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the auxmoney Group to scale our finance setup.

Position: Financial Accountant & Controller (m/f/d)

Your role: You will join a small, close-knit Finance team within a fast-growing FinTech scale-up in the consumer credit space. You will report to the Finance Manager, work hands-on across accounting and controlling, and help supervise and develop a Junior Finance colleague. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the auxmoney Group to scale our finance setup.

What you can expect: - Own financial administration, ensuring complete and accurate bookkeeping and verification for reliable numbers. - Drive month-end and year-end closings, contributing to the annual financial statements with high quality. - Guide and coach a Junior Finance professional to raise overall quality and speed. - Professionalize finance processes by automating, optimizing, and standardizing workflows to support growth. - Deliver analyses and forecasts to support management decisions. - Build and maintain dashboards translating financial data into actionable guidance for leadership. - Support regulatory reporting to AFM, DNB, and ESMA, ensuring compliance.

Work setup: Hybrid with Amsterdam office and flexible work-from-home options.

Your profile: - 3–5 years of experience in accounting, finance, controlling, or similar. - Builder mindset; proactive in improving processes. - Experience in or affinity for the financial sector or credit lending; comfortable in regulated environment. - Regulatory curiosity; familiarity with Wft, AFM, and DNB preferr
