Air Techniques, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Engineering function at our Melville, New York headquarters. The Manager will oversee the Sustaining Engineering team, manage New Product Introduction processes for OEM products, drive continuous improvement in product performance, reliability, manufacturability, and cost, and ensure timely evaluation and implementation of engineering changes (ECR/ECO). The role requires compliance with FDA, CE, and medical device regulations, and collaboration with cross-functional teams including Dürr Dental. Responsibilities include providing technical and disciplinary leadership, supporting employee development and onboarding, and contributing to operational excellence and long-term product sustainability. Requirements include a minimum of 5 years' experience leading engineering or technical teams; experience in sustaining engineering or product lifecycle management; experience in regulated industries (medical or dental devices preferred). Core skills include strong knowledge of product lifecycle management, change management, FDA/CE regulations, ability to work in international environments, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and willingness to travel occasionally.
