This hands-on, remote role spans embedded systems, networking, device security, and fleet connectivity from prototype to deployment, collaborating with firmware, hardware, and backend teams to deliver production-ready systems. Responsibilities include developing connectivity across Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Thread, Zigbee, and BLE; building secure device messaging using MQTT, CoAP, HTTP, or WebSockets; implementing time synchronization with NTP/PTP; contributing to secure boot, provisioning, and hardware-backed identities; building firmware update pipelines with OTA and rollback; and integrating devices with cloud IoT platforms while ensuring telemetry, health monitoring, and observability.
