This pro-bono role supports JerseySTEM's mission to improve access to STEM education for underserved middle school girls in New Jersey. The Donations Management team maintains knowledge of corporate platforms (Benevity, EasyMatch, etc.), updates JerseySTEM information in these platforms, and uncovers new funding opportunities.

Responsibilities

What success looks like: Qualifications:

Upon notification of a donation: download donation data from the relevant platform, log the donation in Salesforce, notify the appropriate JerseySTEM department, and ensure the donor receives a thank-you letter.
Weekly: log in to corporate donation platforms to verify credentials and up-to-date information; review Salesforce donation reports and reconcile with actual records.
Special projects: pursue opportunities offered by platforms (e.g., Benevity Volunteer postings, EasyMatch Grants).
Time to record a donation in Salesforce; time to send donor thank-you letters; new funding opportunities uncovered; up-to-date platform information.
Genuine interest in solving the STEM education gender gap; attention to detail; resourceful, can-do attitude.
Comfortable with learning web-based platforms; experience in social impact, human resources, or corporate-sponsored employee programs is a plus.
Experience leading a function or managing others, or a desire to do so.
Comfortable working in a virtual organization with G-Suite, Slack, Jira, Salesforce.
Flexibility to accommodate day-time calls with school ad
