RS&H is seeking a Deputy Project Manager to join the Transportation Practice in Tampa, Florida. In this role within the Infrastructure team, you will guide medium to large transportation projects to meet client requirements, milestone dates, and budget constraints, while coordinating subconsultant selection and delivering a high-quality final product. You will establish and communicate project requirements, develop a detailed scope of work, budget, and schedule, and maintain ongoing communication with the project team to keep objectives clear. You will lead the project team through all phases to achieve results within budget and schedule, negotiate scope and fees with the client under guidance from a project officer, and propose alternative solutions if objectives cannot be achieved or contractual obligations cannot be met. You will serve as the point of contact for the client and liaise with the project team throughout the duration of the project, providing regular status updates, technical direction, and coordination of the project team. You will deliver an exceptional client experience to support marketing efforts to secure repeat business from existing clients and to win new work. You will identify problems with production and delivery processes and participate in efforts to implement improvements. This position may also provide mentorship and guidance to junior project managers and may serve as the primary owner for project quality planning and quality control.
