Join the RAMSI team in the agile Release Train Technical Operations of SBB Infrastruktur as a Data Engineer tasked with developing and maintaining RAMSI, the data-centric applications that significantly improve the operational management of asset infrastructure. With business units, make data from outages, train delays, inventory, weather, and IoT accessible across channels to enable rapid and accurate problem solving—RAMSI serves as the disruption memory of SBB Infrastruktur. You will strengthen the agile team and help advance RAMSI through innovative solutions. In this role you will build data pipelines on the Enterprise Analytics Platform of SBB, combining batch and streaming approaches. You will integrate diverse data sources via APIs and Kafka to enable analyses, dashboards, and predictive maintenance. Design data products and semantic models on Snowflake and Power BI. Develop RAMSI further—from the web application (Java Spring Boot/Angular) to reports and dashboards for our business specialists. In close collaboration with the business, you will capture requirements and deliver sustainable solutions in operation. You will share your knowledge and support the professional development of other data engineers in the team.
