SpotMe is seeking a Cost Controller to join the Event Services finance team. This remote role (Bulgaria) focuses on controlling, validating, and booking all finance-related activities for the Event Services group. You will audit and validate hours, review and book invoices, and manage travel and expenses to ensure alignment with contracts, approvals, and company policy. You will act as the first line of finance control, identifying discrepancies and collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve issues. You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to drive process improvements, support month-end close, and strengthen documentation and controls. The role involves ramping up over the first 90 days, with increasing ownership of Event Services costs. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically proficient, and able to challenge data professionally while maintaining strong relationships with non-finance partners. Tools used include Xero, ApprovalMax, Salesforce, Mavenlink and Expensify.
