About the role

Premier Marine, LLC is seeking an experienced, hands-on Controller to lead the accounting function for its growing manufacturing organization in Big Lake, Minnesota. This on-site role will be responsible for the integrity of financial reporting, standard costing, internal controls, accounting operations, audit management, and financial compliance. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in a manufacturing environment with deep knowledge of standard costing and a track record of partnering with Operations to improve financial performance, manufacturing efficiency, inventory accuracy, and decision-making. The Controller will act as a strategic business partner, collaborating with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Sales, and Executive Management to drive continuous improvement and leverage technology, including Epicor ERP, to strengthen processes, reporting, and long-term growth.

Core duties include: leading day-to-day accounting operations (GAAP-compliant general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, fixed assets, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and payroll accounting oversight); managing month-, quarter-, and year-end closes; preparing and reviewing monthly financial statements; maintaining internal controls and policies; and implementing improvements to increase efficiency and visibility.
