We are seeking a Controller Consultant to join our growing Financial Operations practice in Denver, Colorado (Hybrid). You will serve as a strategic business partner to support our clients in interim and project-based accounting needs, delivering senior financial management and accounting services with professionalism and client-focused service. You will partner with CFOs, CEOs, executive teams, bankers, private equity firms, legal advisors, tax advisors, and investors to help companies execute growth strategies, take on new initiatives, and implement processes and improvements. Requirements: 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with at least 3 years as a Controller; Bachelor's Degree; willingness to travel within your local market, with occasional support to national markets; strong desire for consulting-style work and excellent customer service; experience leading and managing operations of an accounting department; proven ability to develop and optimize the accounting and finance functions to support growth and scalability; interpersonal skills to build cross-functional relationships (IT, HR, Operations oversight is a plus). Preferred: CPA license or MBA; prior experience with Big Four or other nationally recognized accounting firms; industry experience in emerging growth, technology, and SaaS companies.
