Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

OPEN Data Jobs is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design and operate the shared cloud platform that supports applications. You will manage networking, compute, storage, identity, secrets, connectivity, and recovery capabilities as a cohesive environment. Automation, guardrails, and observability through monitoring will be key, and you will own platform capabilities, service configuration, capacity, resilience, and operational patterns used by delivery teams.

What you'll build - Versioned cloud environments for networks, compute, storage, identity, and connectivity - Landing-zone patterns, account structures, and guardrails for teams using shared cloud services - Resilience capabilities including backup, recovery, failover, and capacity management - Monitoring, alerting, and cloud security posture management for infrastructure health and configuration - Reusable platform services that provide a consistent path for deploying and operating applications
