Excelsior Orthopaedics and Buffalo Surgery Center are seeking a Clinical Operations Team Lead to coordinate the clinic and clinical team, ensuring compassionate, effective, and efficient patient care. Under the supervision of a physician or provider, the role coordinates and supervises clinical activities, organizes duties, monitors daily performance and overtime, and conducts performance evaluations at 30 days, 90 days, and annually. Responsibilities include assisting with interviews and onboarding, addressing office and team issues, ensuring compliance with current state and federal regulations, maintaining clinical equipment, and ensuring policies and procedures support quality, accuracy, and cost efficiency. The incumbent will support medical assistants, nurses, and providers with patient flow and provider orders, attend clinical meetings, and communicate pertinent information to the team. Collaboration with Operations, Human Resources, IT, and other departments is essential. Qualifications include an Associate degree in a health-related field (Bachelor's preferred), at least five years of medical office experience, supervisory experience, and LPN or RN license required. Certifications such as ATC, RT(R), MLT, or CPhT will be considered. CPR/First Aid/AED certification is required. Physical demands include frequent sitting, standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds with assistance. This is a full-time, on-site position in Eggertsville, New York.
