You will join a mixed team of designers, pattern makers, product developers and planners to create the best customer offer while influencing H&M on a global scale. Our aim is to lead the industry in creating irresistible products and to build a fast-moving, creative organization centered around the product, while democratizing sustainable fashion. As a Business Controller, you will play a key role in generating sustainable sales growth and profitability for your area of responsibility through analyses and fashion forecasting to enable a current and commercial assortment. You and your team will lead the development of our global assortment by generating growth, profitability and customer value to optimize each region and ensure a locally relevant assortment. Key responsibilities include optimizing sustainable sales growth and profitability with the right quantity, timing, place and price; making business-minded decisions based on analyses of sales, customer behaviour and market trends; taking informal leadership responsibility, communicating insights clearly and simply; mentoring and leading your team towards our purpose and goals; participating in defining vision, strategy, goals and timeline with the team leader; supporting the team with buying follow-up to secure the right assortment mix and volumes; performing ongoing sales analysis to identify potential and risk; taking responsibility for the controlling and balancing top-down versus bottom-up perspectives.
