The I&A group provides advanced analytics services across global businesses and functions, supporting strategic planning and data-driven decision making. The Paris-based CIB Continental Europe I&A team delivers analytics, data, and insight support to CIB I&A and CMB/GB portfolios, focusing on applying statistical techniques and scalable analytics to analyze product portfolios and risk behavior to support value-based decisions. What you will do: redesign and rationalize analytics, technology, architecture, and data; work with the Insights & Analytics team to develop and implement data-driven solutions for wholesale banking; extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources; design and optimize data pipelines ensuring quality and integrity; integrate data from external sources to enhance analytics capabilities; conduct in-depth analysis of complex transactional and demographic data to identify patterns for risk and opportunities; develop data-based tools and models for propensity modeling and risk mitigation; engage stakeholders to understand project requirements, present analyses, and provide strategic recommendations; contribute to HSBC's data strategy across Continental Europe.
