Alight is seeking a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to design, build, and scale cloud infrastructure and CI/CD capabilities supporting healthcare applications and services. The role requires hands-on experience with Azure and AWS, infrastructure automation with Terraform, and YAML-based pipelines running on Azure DevOps and GitHub. Responsibilities include implementing Infrastructure as Code, governance to meet SOC 2 and HIPAA requirements, and collaborating with security, compliance, and audit teams to ensure access control, auditing, and PHI safeguards. The candidate will automate deployments, monitoring, and operational reliability across distributed cloud services, with familiarity in containerized workloads. You will work with security, compliance, and audit teams to support continuous monitoring and security assessments, and participate in weekend release windows and on-call rotations. Additional duties include monitoring ETL and data integration workflows (Informatica) across production, QA, and development environments, resolving incidents, and optimizing data pipelines with DBAs and Data Architects. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in DevOps or Cloud Engineering, with at least 3 years hands-on Azure and AWS, proficiency with YAML pipelines, Azure DevOps, and GitHub, scripting in PowerShell, Bash, or Python, and experience with Cosmos DB, Kubernetes (AKS/EKS), or GitOps tools. Certifications such as AZ-104 and AZ-400 are preferred. This is a remote role based in the United States.
