Medtronic is seeking a dedicated Area Sales Manager for Enabling Technologies (Neurosurgery) to cover the Ann Arbor, Michigan, United States region. This remote, field-based position requires residency within the territory and the ability to travel to multiple accounts. A valid driver’s license is essential. The incumbent will sell Medtronic Surgical Technologies products to hospitals, physicians and other approved customers to meet quotas and sales objectives. Responsibilities include conducting face-to-face sales calls with physicians, nurses and other key influencers; implementing Sales Action Plans; transporting heavy inventory as needed; planning and executing calls across hospital departments, outpatient centers and doctors’ offices; supporting clinical staff in a surgical environment; maintaining company-owned property and inventory; reporting competitive activity to the Region Manager and keeping required records; and complying with the Medtronic Quality System.
