The Account Executive at Shamrock Foods Company is responsible for maximizing sales growth by representing products and services to restaurants, resorts, hotels, and other institutional establishments on a commission basis. Essential duties include prospecting new customers to build a territory, maintaining and growing the current customer base, and driving customer success through menu engineering support and food cost analysis to improve profitability. The role also involves sharing market intelligence and industry trends, conducting product demonstrations at customer facilities, facilitating demonstrations of capabilities, and introducing product innovations through Shamrock resources. You will build multi-level relationships within the client organizations, keep accounts current, optimize sales, service, and delivery, and manage past-due balances. Additional responsibilities include leveraging technology to enhance customer efficiency and experience and participating in ongoing training. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED (an associate or bachelor’s degree is a plus), 2+ years of experience in culinary, restaurant operations, foodservice, or related fields, prior sales experience, a valid driver’s license, strong problem-solving skills, comfort with technology and data analysis, knowledge of industry trends, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and the ability to adapt to evenings, weekends, and holidays.
