IT Support Engineer I – Manufacturing Plant (On-site) Salt Lake City, Utah, United States
Vericast is a technology and analytics partner to financial institutions, helping banks and credit unions drive growth and agility through data, technology and people. We are seeking an IT Support Engineer I to provide technical support at Vericast locations, diagnosing and resolving faults, performing routine preventative measures, and deploying new hardware to users.
Responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Provide Windows desktop and server support including patch management and vulnerability management, along with system hardware refreshes.
- Work with ServiceNow to manage incidents and support Windows and various business applications.
- Provide on-call support and coordinate upgrade deployments that may occur at night or on weekends.
- Train and support users with varying levels of IT knowledge; collaborate with other IT staff and departments.
- Identify process improvement needs and communicate them to leadership.
- Adapt quickly to new processes and technologies; participate in project-based work as assigned.
- Create and document standards and procedures; analyze failures and prioritize resolution efforts.
- Support users and systems in a fast-paced, changing environment; maintain a positive attitude.
- Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell or similar) and understanding of security best practices (patching, endpoint protection, least privilege).
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience; A+ certifications preferred.
