The Opportunity: AI hardware will drive the next decade of AI economics. We are expanding our hardware pillar to benchmark GPUs, TPUs and custom silicon, and to build the analyses that help the industry understand them. You’ll design and run performance benchmarks across accelerators and inference configurations, extend our benchmarking stack (including AA-AgentPerf) and our performance benchmarking suite, build cost and throughput models, and work directly with leading chipmakers to benchmark their latest silicon.

What You’ll Do: Design and execute benchmarks across AI accelerators (GPUs, TPUs, and custom inference silicon) measuring throughput, latency and price-performance; develop and maintain evaluation methodologies to define how AI hardware performance and efficiency are measured; analyze inference economics (cost-per-token, utilization) and translate insights into deployment and procurement guidance; collaborate with chipmakers such as NVIDIA, AMD and Google to benchmark their latest silicon, shape methodology together, and set industry standards; produce repor
