The Platform team designs and maintains backend services including payments, analytics, subscriptions, new products, text-to-speech, and external APIs. This role designs, develops, and maintains robust APIs (public TTS API, Payment, Subscription, Auth, and Consumption Tracking) and oversees the backend API landscape for performance and scalability. You will collaborate on B2B solutions for enterprise clients and work with cross-functional teams to align backend architecture with product strategy and user experience. Requirements include proven backend development experience with TypeScript/Node.js, direct experience with GCP and knowledge of AWS/Azure, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Docker and Kubernetes experience are preferred. The Italy-based salary range for this role is 30,000-80,000 USD/year plus bonus and stock, depending on experience.
