Infilla is looking for a UX/UI Designer to design and deliver intuitive web experiences and native mobile apps for code enforcement and inspections products, while scaling design quality across the company. Infilla's mission is to accelerate housing permitting by making the permitting process routine. Our customers include San Francisco, New York City, and the State of Delaware. You will deliver the Inspections MVP within 3 months of start and the Code Enforcement product within 5 months; you will maintain the design system across web and mobile components and ensure engineers implement from it with minimal drift. You will empower engineers to ship UI through shared design principles and a robust design system that guides consistency. You’ve designed, shipped, and iterated on 0-to-1 B2B mobile apps used by real users, independently owned cross-platform end-to-end designs, and you incorporate AI into your workflow. You excel at product judgment, design craft, systems thinking, design enablement, and owning work in ambiguity. Nice-to-have items include experience designing for deskless government staff, AI product surfaces, maintained design systems, WCAG AA 2.1 accessibility, brand/marketing design, or prior founder experience. This is a full-time remote role based in the United States. You will join as the second designer and report to the Founder & CEO.
