About the role
Axsome Therapeutics is seeking a Specialty Account Manager (SAM) to execute commercial activities for SYMBRAVO in the assigned geography, establish relationships with customers, and ensure successful promotion of SYMBRAVO, an oral acute migraine medication. The SAM will be a disease category expert and product champion, provide account management support, and leverage an understanding of key stakeholders and market trends to drive performance.
Responsibilities
Qualifi
- Proficient in both virtual and live customer engagements
- Take ownership of territory performance as a SAM, raising awareness of SYMBRAVO among key customers in a competitive CNS space
- Develop a comprehensive territory business plan to achieve quarterly and annual goals
- Promote within approved labeling in a compliant and ethical manner
- Build strong customer relationships by understanding customer needs
- Serve as a resource regarding payer policies and processes (eligibility, prior-authorization, and appeals/denials)
- Maximize use of marketing resources to grow prescriber confidence in Axsome medications
- Communicate territory activity accurately and timely as directed
- Provide feedback to sales, marketing, and other departments about market changes and results
- Complete all training and administrative duties in a timely fashion
- Manage promotional budget
- Collaborate across corporate functions
- Attend medical congresses and society meetings as needed
- Ensure timely access for patients through patient services and savings programs
- Overnight travel as needed
- Additional duties as assigned
