Speechify is seeking a Software Engineer to own data collection and data infrastructure to support model training. This role will build high-quality datasets at petabyte scale by tightly integrating infrastructure, engineering, and research work. You will operate and extend the cloud ingestion pipeline on Google Cloud Platform, managed with Terraform, and collaborate with scientists to optimize cost, throughput, and data quality for next-generation models. You will help craft the data roadmap with the AI Team to power Speechify's consumer and enterprise products. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of software development experience, a BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related field, and strong scripting (bash/Python) in Linux. Proficiency with Docker and Infrastructure-as-Code and experience with at least one major cloud provider (GCP preferred) is required. Experience with web crawlers and large-scale data processing is a plus. Excellent communication skills are essential.
