Speechify is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Core Experiences Team. This role builds and maintains the foundational services and cross-platform SDKs that power Speechify’s product experience across platforms. Based in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, this remote-friendly position offers the opportunity to influence API design and system architecture at scale.

What you’ll do: - Collaborate with product teams to scope projects, minimize scope for faster customer feedback, and navigate UX trade-offs across different products - Design efficient abstractions and algorithms to improve loading times and parsing - Ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and batch jobs using Kotlin - Create reliable APIs and services that enhance the user experience
