This role focuses on building and operating the cloud foundation for Collibra services across multi-cloud environments (AWS and GCP), Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code using Terraform and Helm, with Go controllers and GitOps automation. You will contribute to the platform architecture, enable developers through shared data platform services (Go operators, Kafka, Neo4j), and help drive operational excellence through on-call rotations, security best practices, and thorough documentation. You will partner with product engineering, security, and SRE teams to promote secure, compliant, and resilient architectures. You will stay current with platform engineering trends and automation opportunities to continuously improve our infrastructure. You have 3+ years of experience in platform engineering, SRE, or software engineering, with a degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience. You have hands-on experience designing and operating production services on Kubernetes at scale, managing workloads on AWS, GCP, or Azure, and writing infrastructure as code (preferably Terraform). Proficiency in Golang for controllers and automation is expected.
