Speechify is seeking a Platform Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and APIs supporting our text-to-speech offerings, including a public TTS API and internal APIs for payments, subscriptions, authentication, and analytics. You will oversee the full backend API landscape, optimize performance and maintainability, and collaborate on B2B solutions that meet enterprise integration needs. The ideal candidate has proven backend development experience with TypeScript/Node.js, direct experience with Google Cloud Platform, and familiarity with AWS or Azure. You should be able to ideate and implement tasks efficiently, prioritizing based on impact. Experience with Docker and containerized deployments, and deploying high-availability applications on Kubernetes, is preferred.
