New Horizon Billing Solutions (NHBS) is seeking a Medical Credentialing Specialist to manage credentialing, re-credentialing, and payer enrollment for healthcare providers. The role ensures compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and payer requirements, verifies provider qualifications, and maintains provider data across CAQH, NPPES, and PECOS. The Specialist will process initial credentialing and re-credentialing applications, perform primary source verification of education, licensure, board certification, work history, malpractice history, and other credentials, maintain up-to-date provider files, and coordinate enrollment packets with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers. The position is full-time, in-office in Las Vegas, NV, with typical hours Monday–Friday 9:00 AM–5:00 PM. Compensation ranges approximately $46,000–$60,000 per year, with final offers based on experience and NAMSS certification. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years' credentialing and/or payer enrollment experience, proficiency with CAQH/NPPES/PECOS, and knowledge of NCQA standards. NAMSS CPCS or CPMSM certification is preferred, along with experience with MedTrainer, CredentialStream, or Modio.
