Electronic Arts (EA) is seeking a Masters Thesis Software Engineer Intern to join the Frostbite team in Stockholm, Sweden. This is a six-month internship starting in late January 2027 and follows a hybrid work model with a minimum of three days on site. As a Masters Thesis Intern, you will develop a project exploring the application of Generative AI to Frostbite's development processes. You will prototype approaches, review designs with other software engineers, validate results using a representative dataset, and document progress in a final report. Qualifications include pursuing a MSc in Computer Science (or a related field) with an internship arranged in Sweden; experience with Python, C#, or C++; interest in applying GenAI to software engineering (e.g., GitHub Copilot); knowledge of AI concepts such as knowledge graphs, vector databases, context engineering, LangChain, or RAG; and an understanding of software quality, test automation, or CI/CD.
