The successful candidate will provide customer service to retail customers via walk-in, phone, or email, assisting with product selection, pricing, availability, refunds, and exchanges, with a working knowledge of company products and procedures. This role involves actively selling the company’s products and related items, providing material estimates and quotes for small packages (stairs, decks, fences, sheds, etc.), entering orders into the system, and scheduling deliveries. The representative will plan and pace work to meet daily, weekly, project, or team productivity goals, and participate in coordinating and conducting customer workshops. They will handle simple customer complaints and route more complex issues to senior staff. Additional responsibilities include store housekeeping, signage, stocking, inventory control, and adherence to safety procedures and periodic safety meetings. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED and six months of sales-related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
