Airlock Digital is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Agent organization and shape the Windows, macOS, and Linux Agent teams. This player-coach role combines hands-on software development with people leadership: you will remain deeply involved in the Windows Agent codebase, help set architecture, review code, and resolve complex defects, while managing four to five engineers across the Agent teams. You will own the Windows Agent's technical direction and collaborate with product, QA, security, support, and cloud engineering to improve product quality and customer outcomes. For macOS and Linux Agents, you will provide people leadership and delivery oversight, partnering with platform experts as needed. The role includes participating in on-call rotation for high-severity Windows Agent issues. Key responsibilities include leading engineers, setting priorities, removing obstacles, and maintaining engineering standards. Requirements include 8–12+ years of professional software engineering experience with native Windows software in C and C++, strong Windows systems-programming knowledge (including kernel-mode components and Windows internals), and a track record of security-critical endpoint software. At least 3 years of experience managing a small engineering team. A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is preferred but not required. Bonus points for experience with Windows driver technology, endpoint protection products, macOS/Linux endpoint software, and related tools. The position is based in the United States with Remote OK work arrangement.
