This on-site Community Manager role oversees a residential community in Leon, Virginia, United States, ensuring excellent resident service and strong financial performance.

Responsibilities

Maintain high-quality customer service and oversee daily operations to maximize occupancy and revenue.
Enforce budget targets while upholding high property quality.
Document and report financial goals, expenditures, owner reports, and income accurately.
Manage the leasing process by reviewing, approving, pricing, and renewing applications.
Hire, train, and manage performance of staff; provide ongoing coaching.
Lead regular meetings and maintain clear communication with team via in-person, phone, or video.
Foster strong resident relations and address complaints in a timely manner, in alignment with owners and company policy, and in compliance with state and local laws.
Promote a safe, clean, and productive work environment; ensure staff follow the same standards.
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
At least 2 years of experience in residential property management or related field.
Prior managerial experience is required.
Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Excellent written and spoken English; strong math skills.
Valid driver's license with appropriate auto insurance; acceptable driving history.
